We need a modern and fit-for-purpose agvet chemicals regulatory system.

An independent panel has been appointed to review the current system. They are seeking feedback from stakeholders to help inform their recommendations.

You can now share your feedback with the panel.

Before you submit

Read the issues paper (PDF, 2.8MB).

The content of the issues paper is a guide. You don't have to address or read all parts, just those that are relevant to you. You can also raise other issues relating to the regulatory system that aren't addressed in the paper.

What to include

The panel will consider all relevant material.

Please ensure your document is clearly readable. Also identify the parts of the issues paper you are referring to in your feedback.

Make sure you include:

  • title of the issues paper
  • your name and title
  • your organisation's name (if applicable)
  • your contact details
  • any sensitivities which may impact on publication of your submission.

How to share your ideas

Use our online form to upload your written feedback. You can also send feedback by email or post.

Submit your feedback by 5pm on Friday 28 August 2020.

The panel will hold meetings in each capital city following the release of the issues paper. This will take place between March and June.

Next steps

The panel will consider all submissions when developing their recommendations.

They will release a draft report for further feedback. This will then inform the final report. The final report will be delivered to the Minister for Agriculture, Drought and Emergency Management in May 2021.
