Farm Household Allowance Review 2018

Consultation on the Farm Household Allowance (FHA) Review has now closed. The FHA review final report Rebuilding the FHA: a better way forward for supporting farmers in financial hardship and recommendations are now available on the Review of the Farm Household Allowance page.
The FHA Review panel conducted extensive consultation with representatives from across the agricultural sector. This included farming families experiencing hardship and those doing well.
We also consulted with trusted advisors and support networks, such as:
- accountants
- agricultural advisers
- agronomists
- financial planners
- rural financial counsellors
- stockists
- succession planners
- industry representatives
- members of the general public.
The review looked at what was working well for FHA and what improvements could be made.
