Public consultation on the regional trade and market access communication strategy is closed.

How you had your say

We sought feedback from people on improving communication between all relevant Australian government agencies and key stakeholders engaged in trade and market access in Pacific Island countries (PIC).

We invited feedback from people across the National Plant Protection Organisations and PIC exporters.

Survey

Responses were received from a range of people including government officials, exporters and private enterprise.

What you said

Your feedback helped us learn:

  • what the key issues are
  • who we need to engage with
  • what you would like us to know
  • how you would like us to share information with you

What happens next

We will review and consider your feedback. We will use it to consult further via online stakeholder meetings. All feedback received will be used to write the regional trade and market access communication strategy and develop the products and services to deliver effective communication, develop harmonised, timely and helpful messaging about biosecurity issues that impact the importing and exporting of agricultural and horticultural products.
